Borderlines by Emma Lindsay, 2018. Image courtesy of the artist. This project is supported by The Dean Collection.
The exhibition recreates intense personal encounters with other species in National Parks, World Heritage sites and museum archives. The work connects human narratives to disappearing biodiversity, a perspective often edited out of the nature documentaries and their images of an apparently ‘untouched’ nature. The exhibition will present these inter-species encounters via painting, digital media, and installation.
