OPPORTUNITY FOR EMERGING CREATIVES

Concrescence is an online journal and print zine co-founded by QUT Alumni and former Eyeline interns Chloe Mills and Tamara Holmes. Submissions are currently open for the first issue of the print zine and online journal. They are looking for poetry and short fiction up to 500 words for the print zine, while for the website they are looking for visual art, short stories, non-fiction, reviews, poetry, and musician profiles.

Submissions are open to everyone, though they do wish to highlight Australian writing, visual art, and music.

CALL FOR ARTISTS: SWELL SCULPTURE FESTIVAL

SWELL is an annual outdoor sculpture exhibition located at Currumbin Beach and Helensvale Library, Gold Coast, Queensland. This year the 17th SWELL Sculpture Festival will be held from 13 – 22 September 2019. Alongside the festival there will be guided twilight walks through the artwork, artist talks and artist led workshops.

Swell invites artist applications for the 17th SWELL Sculpture Exhibition to be held along Currumbin Beach WALKWAY on Australia’s Gold Coast FROM SEPTEMBER 13-22 2019.

Presented in association with John Cruthers and Lauren Parker from Indo Art Link, Termasuk: Contemporary art from Indonesia will showcase recent work by artists based in Indonesia, one of the world’s most vibrant contemporary art scenes.
 
Termasuk presents recent work by 12 younger and mid-career artists from Indonesia. They are; Agung ‘Agugn’ Prabowo, Arwin Hidayat, Fika Ria Santika, Maharani Mancanagara, Mohamad ‘Ucup’ Yusuf, Mohammad Taufiq (emte), Restu Ratnaningtyas, Ruth Marbun, Sekar Puti, Setu Legi, Surya Wirawan & Theresia Agustina Sitompul.
