Expressions of interest are now open for the 2024 Gallery Program!

PhotoAccess is seeking expressions of interest from artists and curators at all stages of their careers to participate in our curated exhibition program for the 2024 Huw Davies Gallery season at PhotoAccess. This is an opportunity to showcase your work in a gallery with an established local and national profile, engaged audiences and a dynamic network of artists, curators and arts commentators.

PhotoAccess is a unique space for making, sharing and discovering creative photography and photo-based art. We’re a place where local, interstate and overseas artists, curators and audiences gather to explore how contemporary image-making shapes our world. Located in Canberra, at the Manuka Arts Centre, PhotoAccess is a non-profit, member-based organisation. Each year, we present a dynamic program of exhibitions featuring emerging and established photographers and photo-artists, together with accessible public talks, events, performances and artist residencies that foster critical debate about, understanding of and engagement with image-based practice.

Our program aims to feature work by contemporary photo-media artists, demonstrating both technical and artistic excellence, to inform and inspire our visitors.

Successful projects will be curated into either a group show or a solo exhibition, depending on the strength, relevance, and context of the work. Selected artists will be given the opportunity to work closely with the PhotoAccess team to develop and realise their projects. Our experienced team will provide mentorship and logistical support, ensuring that your vision reaches its full potential.
